In the fall of 2017, my life changed dramatically, and now almost 3 years later, I thought it was time to start a new chapter when it comes to my blog!

Please visit my new "Tales from the Garden" blog for a unique perspective on nature, gardens, and gardening from a very lucky person (me) who now gets to observe nature while gardening in both the Pacific Northwest and the Desert Southwest!

🐝Cheers,

PS. In case you'd like more details, I am now semi-retired. In October 2017, I retired from my longtime work as director and lead educator of Magnuson Park Nature Programs and from the landscape design part of my business, Green Light Gardening. My husband and I moved to a home in the tiny town of Arivaca, Arizona for half of each year, and into a small apartment in Snohomish, Washington for the other half.

Since that time, I have completed writing one book and started writing another, released two CDs and recorded a third, and built a new 2000 sq. ft. garden. To find out more, visit my new website, www.ebishton.com

However, during the months I am in the Northwest each year, I continue teaching sustainable gardening classes part-time, and continue volunteering at Magnuson Children's Garden Family Garden Days and other free public events. I hope to see you here or there!
